If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars- I would. I am visiting from America and just happened to be passing by on the street, and boy am I glad I did! I decided on the Cruffin and WOW was it magical. I wish I could have tried one of everything as it all looked and smelled amazing. I’d be a regular if I lived here!!
Absolutely delicious pastries. Queue out the doors from about 8 is not a surprise. Lovely staff and good coffee too .Prices very reasonable - shame it’s not open for half the week.
I almost don’t want to give this place five stars because I want to keep it all to myself, but the fact is that it’s absolutely incredible. I used to live in France and the patisserie here is really, really good. The pain suisse is a dream and the bread is excellent. They make a great coffee too. Never change please Sustenance, never change.
It took a while to find but well worth it. The best almond croissant I’ve had in the uk, the coffee’s great and the staff friendly and fast. A great way to finish an early morning walk.
I have eaten many croissants in my lifetime, but the one today from the sustenance society was on another level. Every bite was incredible, the other pastries were fabulous too and the bread, but the plain croissant I could eat every day. The girl who served was lovely and friendly.
This place is just incredible. The pastries are absolutely to die for and the coffee is incredible. So rich and strong. Just how I like it. Have only tried the Focaccia from the breads, which was utterly amazing, but the sourdough looks outrageously good too. The only downside for me would be the price but I would still happily pay the prices for such good quality produce. I need to curb my cravings for it or it will end up taking all my money. Definitely give these guys a try. Superb.
